Miami Global Service Jam
The Global Service Jam is the world’s largest design thinking event. During the Global Service Jam people from over 120 cities come together to “Jam” for 48 hours to conceive and prototype innovative services around a common theme. The purpose of the event is to create innovators by equipping people with design-based business tools they can use in their jobs and communities.
I co-organized Miami’s inaugural participation in the Global Service Jam in February 2015.
Miami Gov Jam
The Global GovJam is the world’s largest design thinking event focused on government innovation. During the Global GovJam people from over 30 cities come together to “Jam” for 48 hours to conceive and prototype innovative services around a common theme. The purpose of the event is to create innovators by equipping people with design-based business tools they can use in their jobs and communities.
I co-organizer and host of Miami’s inaugural participation in the Global GovJami on June 9 – 11, 2015.

Miami Sustainability Jam 2016-17
The Global Sustainability Jam is a world-wide, volunteer-run design thinking event where people conceive and prototype services that address issues related to sustainability. The purpose of the event is to create innovators by equipping people with design-based business tools they can use in their jobs and communities.
I co-organized and hosted Miami’s inaugural participation in the Global Sustainability Jam,on October 2015.
AIGA Leadership
I served on the board of directors for AIGA Miami for 2 years. during that time I was instrumental in organizing and running many of their events. I ran and organized two major events with the New World Symphony (NWS) during this time, a centennial celebratory event where visual designers got a chance to design animated graphics in collaboration with musicians as well as a collaboration with sketchy, a self-portrait app, and the NWS. During my time with AIGA Miami, I lead and organized an event with IBM
Institutional Funding and Support
Due to my involvement and leadership at AIGA Miami, I was instrumental in acquiring both funding and support for the chapter. To name two outstanding successes, I was able to obtain a presentation space at eMerga Americas, the premier tech event connecting the Americas, two years in a row, and influence national sponsorship from International Paper to AIGA.
Conference Speaking
Having hosted multiple workshops and events, I feel at home when on stage. In 2017, I spoke at an SEGD conference in Miami.
